Type your text and copy any style you like. The result uses special Unicode characters, so it works where normal formatting does not.
Why does this work on LinkedIn?
LinkedIn does not support bold, but it shows these special Unicode characters as styled text.
Are there downsides?
Screen readers may read the characters oddly and search can miss them, so use styled text for short highlights only.
